Black ONYX: Meaning, Origins, Properties, Benefits and Virtues

Black Onyx is a stone used since the dawn of time.

Its intense black color brings simplicity and elegance to your outfits.

Black is often associated with sadness, but in jewelry, it represents mystery, strength and self-confidence.

Black Onyx is renowned for its anti-aging properties thanks to the protection it provides to the superficial layers of the epidermis.

Its origins date back to ancient Egypt where researchers discovered bowls carved entirely from Onyx, but it was in the 1800s that Queen Victoria popularized the natural stone Onyx, wearing it for almost 40 years. Even today, Indians and Persians consider that onyx protects them from the evil eye.
